When I search in Stratus, old results are displayed?
Bill Paris, MLS Technician
To try and make your Internet experience faster, Internet Explorer
saves old
versions of the web sites you visit so that it doesn’t have to
download the whole page later. This is great for websites that changes
very little over time, but causes old information to be displayed in
websites that change often (i.e. CNN.com or Stratus) to correct this:
- Open Internet Explorer, go to TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS. This
will bring you to the General tab
- Under the heading Browsing history click on SETTINGS
- 3. At the section titled “Check for newer versions of stored pages” make sure "Every time I visit the webpage" is selected. Click OK
- Also under the heading Browsing history click
on Click on the DELETE button
- Check the boxes next to "Preserve Favorites website data”,
Temporary Internet Files” and “History” and
click Delete
- Click OK, then close Internet Explorer
